This manga caused quite some commotion since it deals with the pregnancy of a high school girl.

Asami was always treated strictly at home and at school. She gets pregnant of Takashi, the boy she loves, and decides to keep the child, despite all disapproval. Takashi however, supports her and promises to marry her after having finished high school. Meanwhile, the best friend of Asami discovers that she was adopted after her real mother, then a high school student at their very own school, committed suicide.

Takashi dies in a tragic car accident, making Asami meditate of suicide as well. Rei, who feels some sympathy for the child her friend has to give birth to, aims to commit suicide with her, by jumping of the terrace of the hospital. But…
