High school student utterly typical of this era, and the story's main character. Kind and affable, but has a rather dry attitude towards androids. He's bossy at home, but not so in the outside world. Has little interest in the Laws of Robotics, perhaps because he's so used to androids, but is well-versed when it comes to digital tools and programming.
