Seabook's and Rees' mother is an engineer in the employ of the military research institute SNRI, and the designer of the bio-computer installed in the prototype F91 Gundam. Monica has essentially separated from her family in order to devote herself to her research work, and her children have deeply mixed feelings towards their absent mother.
