Christian was an Alliance colonel. He participated in the National Salvation Military Council's coup d'état against the Alliance government, and shortly afterwards was involved in suppressing a peace rally led by Jessica Edwards at Heinessen Stadium. Following an argument between the two, Christian began beating Edwards, leading to a massive altercation between the military and assembled citizens.
